My name is Baby (short for
Danny's Baby Boy), and I'm a registered English Bulldog--the finest dog breed in the
world! In my lifetime, I've had the honor and pleasure of becoming one of the most
well-known bullies in the world because of this photograph. My fame started when I was
selected to be the June 1999 Bulldog of the Month by the New Zealand Bulldog Club. |

little note from Baby's papa: The images above are from the original home page of Baby's website when it was first published in 1999. At that time, I could only speculate that Baby would become a famous bulldog. Well, a lot of things have happened since then, and he has become one of the most well-known bulldogs on the planet. He's now known to many as THE goodwill ambassador for the breed, as well as a great patriot, bringing smiles and courage to many during troubled times (see Baby's War Page). As a result, he's loved by thousands of people all over the world. He's a bulldog that's truly a legend, and just as Rin Tin Tin and Lassie will always be alive to those who were their fans, Baby will live forever in the hearts and minds of thousands. |

The fame has come with a price tag, though. The following statement made by Baby describes it all in a nutshell.

"But I tell you, being famous is not as fun as it might appear. I'd rather eat the derby than wear it. Ah, what sacrifices I make for Papa and all my fans. |
